  Take a Short Pause
Before you scroll any farther, give yourself two minutes.
Put both feet on the floor. Take three slow breaths.
Let your shoulders relax. And quietly say:
âI am here. God is here. We are One.â
Stay there for a few moments.
Thatâs Divine Flow: learning to notice the God who is already here.

A Simple Path to Wholeness
Divine Flow is a simple rhythm that helps your mind, body, and spirit become more grounded, awake, and open to experiencing God's presence in your everyday life. It is built on four pillars:
Quiet Time
Make daily space to listen. Slow down, breathe, quiet the mental chatter, and learn to notice God's presence within you and around you.
Spiritual Reading
Read with your heart, not just your head. Let Scripture and other spiritual books, podcasts, and writings become more than information. Listen for the word, phrase, or insight that's speaking to your life.
Community
Don't walk the journey alone. Gather with others for honest conversation, deep listening, encouragement, and discernment.
Spiritual Gifts
Discover how love wants to flow through you.
Recognize the unique gifts God has placed within you and learn how to use them in service to others.
Together, these four pillars become a way of life, a rhythm that helps you live from Godâs indwelling Presence.Â

âI felt lost in my relationship with God, longing to reconnect and go deeper. Divine Flow opened my heart to the contemplative way of living. Through the Four Pillars, I discovered a simple, life-giving path to strengthen my relationship with God and experience Godâs presence in everyday life.â
Jim Lozer, Ed.D.
âI have found the Divine Flow Lifestyle to be a wonderful blessing to the contemplative community. Its wisdom of âstreet-level spiritualityâ gives people accessible resources to deepen their practice and experience a more contemplative way of life. As a retired psychologist, Iâm especially impressed by the way Divine Flow weaves psychological insights into the program, helping individuals recognize personal obstacles and engage in their own shadow work.â
Nancy Van Fleet
Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries, First Presbyterian Church, Naples, FL
âThe Divine Flow lifestyle is inspiring and deeply relatable. It meets you right where you are, beautifully weaving timeless spiritual wisdom into everyday life. Each step feels like a personal journey of awakeningâpractical, profound, and transformative. I canât recommend it highly enough!â
Randall P
"The practice of Divine Flow has had a significant impact on my spiritual prayer life but it didnât happen all at once. I knew bits and pieces of the masters from different cultures but the practice of Divine Flow put the puzzle together in a Catholic Christian context for me. It has also breathed new life into traditional prayers and the rosary as God leads me to new beautiful friends in my life."
Cheryl S.
Divine Flow Seminar Participant
"What an incredible gift the Divine Flow Lifestyle has been to my life! It has made an amazing difference in my day-to-day as I keep growing in the awesome Love of God... (especially, the "Quiet" part!)"
Fred Longnecker
"I regularly refer my friends to the wonderful free resources. Iâve found that the life of Divine Flow is easy at one level, but it also requires me to undo long-held personal habits and to reframe beliefs that get in the way of channeling the love of God to myself and others."

Who We Are
Divine Flow Lifestyle began in 2024, when Brian Plachta, author, spiritual director, and former attorney, gathered Christian contemplative leaders from across the United States and beyond to explore a simple question:
How can we help people reclaim the Christian contemplative tradition and experience God in everyday life?
Together, we prayed, studied, listened, and discerned a way forward.
From that journey, Divine Flow Lifestyle was born, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps individuals and Christian communities rediscover a contemplative way of life rooted in Jesusâ life and teachings.
Our roots are ancient. Our approach is practical, accessible, and street-level.Â
